When a member of your team is outside the radio coverage area, they can use their own cellular device to stay in constant contact.

RadioPro Talk connects to a RadioPro IP Gateway through a two-way radio over IP interface (ROIP). RadioPro acts as a client and can do a smaller subset of the functions that the Motorola dispatch console can do.

Although less reliable and less rugged than traditional portable radios, having the options for some of your staff to bring their own devices and use a push-to-talk app may offer the cost savings and flexibility that you need for your existing communications infrastructure.

BACKGROUND AUDIO & ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSIONS

RadioPro Talk requires the AccessibilityService API to enable background audio functionality while using the app. This allows users to continue receiving radio transmissions even when the app is minimized or the screen is turned off.

We do not use the Accessibility API for any unauthorized purposes, such as modifying system settings, intercepting user data, or recording phone calls. The API is strictly used to maintain seamless audio communications in the background, ensuring users stay connected to their radio system at all times.

By enabling AccessibilityService, users can receive push-to-talk (PTT) audio and alerts while using other apps or when their device screen is locked.
